Cindermaw tiger (aka The floor is lava)by ~Meteorskies

Yeah well, for once I am half-serious in the title only because it is my very first piece I painted with my portfolio in mind. No real surprise but it is intended for a MTG-ish style.

On the technical side, the only textures I used are the flames, the rest is painted. I changed my workflow and worked plane by plane, starting with the sky and going up to the foreground, stacking the layers. On the time spent, I would say around 25hr but I can't be sure at this point.

I will try to do few more of these for my portfolio in the near future.
